A warehouse designed for a pallet-in, pallet-out operation with direct put-away strategy from dock to stock and stock to dock. A conceptual design for a new warehouse design that can be further expanded based on the requirements of the business.
Building Specifications;
- Area - 5,500 sqm [eave height - 17.6m | ridge height - 19.9m]
- Storage capacity - 13,344 pallet positions [24,200 cubic meters of cargo volume storage]
Optimizing the vertical height
The design has taken in to account the optimum height based on the available capacities in the handling equipment available at the time of the project.
The storage system is integrated to operate with a Articulated Very Narrow Aisle handling equipment.
